Kathy McReynolds is a respected financial services executive with more than three decades of leadership experience in Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance, Credit Risk, Enterprise Risk Management, Corporate Governance, and Financial Services Operations across Canada and international markets. Throughout her career, she has held senior executive roles within Schedule I banking, credit unions, international investment funds, and financial services organizations, leading complex transformations, mergers, regulatory initiatives, and enterprise-wide risk programs.
Kathy has extensive experience working directly with regulatory authorities and supervisory agencies both domestically and internationally. Engagement with OSFI, Canadian provincial regulatory bodies, deposit insurers, anti-money laundering regulators, the European Central Bank environment, the International Monetary Fund (IMF), and numerous European regulatory agencies across multiple jurisdictions. She has successfully led regulatory examinations, compliance programs, governance frameworks, due diligence initiatives, and risk oversight activities in highly regulated environments.
Currently serving as Vice President, Support Services & Risk at East Coast Credit Union, Kathy is recognized for her strategic leadership, practical approach to risk and compliance, and ability to balance strong governance with organizational growth and innovation. She is a trusted advisor to Boards, executive teams, regulators, and industry stakeholders, bringing a unique perspective gained from both domestic and international financial services experience.
