Naimish Kakkad is the Head of Technology and Innovation at League Data, where he leads technology strategy, innovation, and modernization initiatives supporting more than 30 Canadian credit unions. He has held leadership and architecture roles with Persistent Systems, TIAA, Oracle Financial Services, and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), delivering large-scale transformation programs for financial institutions and Fortune 500 organizations.
Throughout his career, Naimish has helped organizations modernize core banking platforms, payments ecosystems, digital channels, and enterprise integration landscapes. His expertise spans core banking transformation, real-time payments, open banking, API ecosystems, cloud platforms, AI-enabled solutions, and enterprise architecture. He has worked with organizations including League Data, JPMorgan Chase, HDFC Bank, YES Bank and a broad network of Canadian credit unions and fintech partners.
At League Data, Naimish is focused on accelerating innovation across payments, AI, data and analytics, APIs, customer experience, and fintech partnerships, helping credit unions build resilient, scalable, and future-ready financial services platforms.
Based in Ottawa, Canada, Naimish lives with his wife and daughter and is an active sports and cultural enthusiast. Outside of work, he enjoys playing badminton and participating in Garba folk dancing, including competitions and community events across Canada.
