Josh Tavenor is the Director of Strategic Policy with the Department of Growth, Development and Defence Industries, Government of Nova Scotia. Josh is responsible for policy development, economic impact assessment, and project management for the housing, defence, and life sciences sectors supporting affordability and economic growth throughout Nova Scotia. He manages the First Time Homebuyer’s Program and led its development. Prior to this role, Josh spent a decade working in the Newfoundland and Labrador, Alberta, and Nova Scotia public services, and has a PhD in economic and environmental history.
