Founder, Heliolab
Anthony McQuaid is the founder of Heliolab, a technology studio based in Sydney, Nova Scotia that works with credit unions, non-profits and other mission-driven organizations on human-centered technology and AI. He’s currently working with Sydney Credit Union on its digital transformation. Before Heliolab, Anthony spent 15 years in the tech industry. He started as a developer, building for clients like the History Channel, Stephen King and Holiday Inn. He went on to design software used by some of the world’s biggest events, including Coachella, Bonnaroo and the X Games, and to lead product at Carbide, a Techstars-backed cybersecurity compliance startup.
