Rick has served as Chief Executive Officer of Coastal Financial Credit Union since 1994, bringing over three decades of dedicated executive leadership to the credit union system. A firm believer in lifelong learning, Rick holds an educational background including Commerce at Saint Mary’s University, Financial services at Lakeland College, and Management Studies at Dalhousie University. He is also an Associate (ACUIC) and Fellow (FCUIC) of the Credit Union Institute of Canada. Driven deeply by a commitment to community development, Rick focuses on leveraging cooperative finance to build a thriving, more resilient local economy.
